| I do have some suggestions for you. Peyton Westlake - who becomes DARKMAN through a laboratory explosion. Also - Sir Elton John and Mr. Martin Shaw would be a treat. | ||||

Hello JC - Thank you for your
suggestions. Peyton Westlake as Darkman, this model can be considered but
would be as a commission only piece. This is due to a couple of factors -
there may be copyright issues which I would need to check and there are
models / figurines that can be purchased of this character, all-be-it they
are mass produced. This is why, for example, I would not do any models for
sale or display of a character from "Star Wars" as George Lucas has
copyright on all characters and there are mass produced figurines in
existence. A specially commissioned piece made exactly to a specific order
would not be a problem though but as you can appreciate it is a unique
piece of art - a one off original and the price would reflect that.
Elton John is in the pipeline for completion by the end of the year and is listed on the Coming soon page. As of yet I am not sure what outfit but he will be seated at a grand piano.
As of the moment there are no plans
to create a display model of Martin Shaw - but he would definitely be
made if commissioned.

| Is there a Michael Crawford model in the pipeline, preferably modelled on his 'Concert' DVD. | ||||

Thank you J for your suggestion on a
model of Michael Crawford. He obviously has a large fan base as I have
received several suggestions to include him. Well, I can tell you that
he is in the pipeline for the summer as The Phantom from The Phantom Of
The Opera. I want to do a model with a difference in that I intend to do
him with a removable mask leaving the collector with the choice of
alternating his appearance. This model will then be on display at the
Dress Circle shop in London and will be available to buy there or by
directly commissioning it through me. The mask idea would repeat the
success I had of a removable mask for Ken Kirzinger as Jason Voorhees
from the Freddy Versus Jason model I have on my website.
But,
that's not the only Michael under consideration as I'm of an age that
remembers Michael with a great deal of fondness from his comedy days in
Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em and plan to do Michael as Frank Spencer and
Michelle Dotrice as Betty before the year is out and cataloguing them
under my great lovers section of the website!
I
would be happy to discuss a commission of him from his concert DVD and
if this is something you would like to consider or to have more
information on, please feel free to contact me by telephone or via the
website.

| Hi, I have been admiring your statues on the Dress Circle website, they are very good. I was wondering if you have ever considered doing one of Michael Crawford, either 'In Concert' or as the Phantom of the Opera.? I really believe there is a market out there for such a piece and just talking to my friends on-line I have had several who say they would love to buy such a piece. Anyway, thank you for reading this and well done with all those other sculptures on DC. | ||||

Hi JC. Several months ago you wrote a lovely e-mail complimenting me on my models that I have on display at Dress Circle. I don't think I replied to you and I do apologise for this but at that time I was seriously ill and since had to take several months off to recuperate, but now I'm back in business. Michael Crawford is most definitely a consideration in fact there are some people who say my current "Phantom Of The Opera" model on the website certainly looks like Sarah Brightman. Thoroughly enough that model was never intended to be either Michael Crawford or Sarah Brightman but was indeed a general interpretation of The Phantom and Christine. My current thoughts on doing Michael from The Phantom would be with his face revealed - what do you think? If this would be a model you would like to see please let me know and I can put it into production over the coming months or we could discuss some other interpretation. Many thanks for your interest and once again my apologies for the delay. |

Hi
K. Thank you
for your suggestion of Janet Jackson as a model to consider. I have
thought about doing her for a while now and put her on the list of
probables for next year - but how to do her? I must admit that I am
tempted with her rather infamous incident at the Superbowl....

| As a huge Meryl Streep fan, I would love to see some models of her. One from The Devil Wears Prada, or perhaps Sophie's Choice, or even Silkwood? Thanks in advance. | ||||

Hi H. Thank you for your suggestion about a Meryl
Streep model. I'm not sure if you're a mind reader or not...but there is a
Meryl Streep model arriving in the showpiece collection tomorrow! I have
done her from "Death Becomes Her" along with Goldie Hawn and they are also
new members of the Duelling Divas section! There is a possibility of doing
more models of Meryl Streep but I would be likely to do them as specific
orders. If you would be interested in ordering one I would be delighted to
discuss this with you.

| I would like to have one of my favorite actor from The Poseidon Adventure of 1972. One of Fred Sadoff as Linarcos. He was dressed elegantly in the movie. Would love to see a model of him in either the fully dressed tuxedo he wore that evening in the dining room or the 3 piece suit he wore on the bridge as he ordered Captain Harrison to "Full Ahead." Hope you can do this, would love to see it. I've been a big fan of Fred Sadoff for a long time, I have a website on him. Thank you for taking my suggestion. Have a wonderful day. | ||||

| Hi there D'DA - Thanks for your suggestion about Fred Sadoff as Linarcos as a model. As a big fan of the film I know who you mean and have several photographic images of him. I think he would work best in his tuxedo as there is a little more scope there to really make an impact! At the moment I cannot say when I would get the opportunity to add him personally to the showpiece collection as there are about 20 others planned for this year (see my "coming soon" section on the website!) and I have commissions for clients in production as well. Incidentally two of which happen to be Gene Hackman and Ernest Borgnine from the film, which should be completed by the end of February! | ||||

| It would be good to have regular info on any developments to the site or where the models are displayed. Perhaps a Newsletter to regular site visitors to their email address? It would be good to hear about new categories such as the Wedding cake - I only came across it by chance. | ||||
